Doctor's Appointment
I wish I could start by saying "We are getting close!" but we aren't, not just yet anyways. We had our doctors appointment yesterday, but I am still not showing any signs of going into labor in the near future, on my own anyways. The good news is we have a plan, which is really what I wanted at this point. I go back Tuesday for a non-stress test, and if I have dilated at all (2-3 cm per Dr. Barney) then they will induce me on Thursday. This is of course if the baby is doing alright. If I haven't made any progress as of Tuesday, and the baby is fine, then the following Tuesday will be the day. So hopefully I will have progressed by Tuesday and we can plan on Thursday, but you never know. I'll keep you guys updated!! Have a great weekend!

I cried when they told me that with Rylie. I was so ready, so big, so ready. But after the stress test they gave us a plan as well and it helped so much.Just to know it wouldn't be two more weeks or whatever!
I am happy you have a plan, cant wait to meet this little lady!
Well, a plan is good! I think we are all just as anxious to see Little Ledford. Still keeping post for the phone call!

Yea, it was kind of hard when he checked me, smirked, then said you aren't going anytime soon! But you are right, at least we have a plan!
Misty, I am trying to avoid pictures right now of my swollen self, but if you are lucky I'll post one over the weekend : )
The little lady will make her appearance when she's ready. It's so hard though! I'm glad you're feeling good about your plan. It'll be here before you know it!
I went to my midwives yesterday, and while I have technically made a little progress, it's exactly where I was a week before Gracen was born and STILL where I was 2 hours before she was born. Bodies are crazy/amazing/infuriating things!! I'm gonna go do some jump-n-jacks and get this show on the road:)
I'm sorry you're swollen. I haven's seen my feet and ankle bones in a couple of weeks and my nose is taking up my entire face.
I can't wait to see this lil' girlie!!

I just emailed Dawn (I don't have your email in my phone) to see if you've had that baby girl yet! I just want to tell you how beautiful you are and that you are so strong and you can do this thing Shannon! I am praying for you, for an easy, safe labor and I don't know if the girls have told you, but we have another baby girl now too! Esther Marley....can't wait for you and baby Ledford to meet her!

Hey, Blog stalker here. My name is Sunday, one of Jessica's friends. I have sort of checked in on your blog from time to time and saw that you are due, but no baby! I look forward to hearing when you have her. Waiting stinks, especially when people ask "oh when are you due", and you have to tell them "last week"! You are doing great. Sorry to stalk, I learned it from Jessica :)

Sunday, no worries, I stalk your blog too! So now that we are "out",I have enjoyed reading yours! Yes, today, I had to say "I was due yesterday!" Oh well, I think I am much more at peace about it now than I was after my appointment.
