Snowbird Outing

Today was a fun day. We went up to Snowbird Resort, which is a huge ski resort in the winter, but in the summer they have lots of fun activities, such as the zip line, alpine slide, tram rides, etc. http://www.snowbird.com/events/summeractivities.html. Several of us went up today and enjoyed getting out of the valley heat (a little bit anyways). Here I am on the bungee trampoline thing, getting my nerve up to do a flip. It is a lot scarier than I thought it would be!

I got my nerve up!

This is the lift you have to ride to go to the zip line and the alpine slide. It's the bunny slope lift in the winter, so no huge lift or anything. The zip line was A LOT of fun. It shoots you down 1000 feet.

And I just had to show you guys this little chipmunk eating pizza! He was so cute. They were all over the place, and very tame. Apparently used to lots of people....

Flip Flop Summer Tour

So what IS a summer without flip flops and Kenny Chesney?? I definitely feel like my summer got kicked off last night at his concert. Pat Green and Sugarland were the opening acts, and it was a great time. The venue was Usana Ampitheatre. We were with our friends Heather and Jeremy. Good times, good friends, good music.....

Bear River Camping Trip

We spent the weekend at our friends' Ashley and Shawn's cabin. We had a wonderful time, renting 4-wheelers, exploring the area, and hanging out with friends. Yesterday we drove on Mirror Lake highway, which was beautiful. I couldn't believe that yet another place like that existed so close to where we live! There is no doubt we will be going up to that area again soon. Oh, and Brandy had a blast. The kids threw sticks to her all day Saturday and she was worn out. Right now she is still snoring on the couch!

Latest Catch

OK, so I had to brag a little bit. I will mostly be posting pictures of Wes's fish, but I caught a couple last week on a work outing that I was pretty proud of. Granted, these fish literally swam around me once I hooked them at least 10 times, but I had never done the whole kick boat thing before, plus it was the first time I had ever gone fly fishing without Wes, so I couldn't yell for him to help!

7 Years Together

Tomorrow Wes and I are celebrating our 7-year anniversary, so I thought I would post a picture of us when we were first engaged. How young we were! We have had a great weekend so far, pretty much consisting of boating and eating! And tomorrow we will continue celebrating at Carraba's for dinner. I can't believe it's been 7 years, and I guess about 8 1/2 of knowing Wes. I can honestly say I love him more today than I would have ever imagined. Life hasn't always been easy, but I am so happy we have made it this far together! I am still new to this blog thing, and now I am having issues trying to figure out how to share my blog with everyone! Do I just send an email to my friends with my website? I need help, but no one can read my blog without me telling them about it!

Wes is back!!

Wes is home tonight, and I am so happy. He has been gone for too long, in fact, this was the longest we had ever been away from each other. It was 5 days, but who knew I would miss him so much. And miss good sleep! He had a wonderful time, but he is worn out and looking like a mountain man with almost a full beard! I will try to post some of his pictures later. For now, I am going to go hang with my hubby. G'night!

First blog ever....

Hello everyone! I have enjoyed my friends blogs so much that I finally decided to create my own. Honestly, I thought I might wait til we have kids, but since who knows when that will happen, we'll just start now! So you will be seeing a lot of pics of our dear pup Brandy, and Wes and I! And the Utah scenery, of course! Especially since it's summer, and Wes and I will be on many adventures, I am sure! In fact, right now he is in Montana fishing, which by the way, is another reason I am starting this now, because I am bored.
