Today was a momentous day in Utah! It rained!! For those of you who live in the south, you must understand something. It NEVER rains here in July, in fact we have had fires throughout the state for weeks now. So rain is a wonderful thing. In fact, it started as soon as I left work, I had to run out to my car in it, and I didn't even care. I LOVE rain now. I never thought I would say that, after feeling like I lived in the rain forest sometimes in Asheville. Anyways, so tonight I took some pictures of the sky. The sunset was gorgeous....
This was the stormy sky to the north. It is a welcoming sight to see these dark clouds.
And if anyone can tell me what kind of flower this is I will be in debt to you forever! They were planted before we moved in, and they do really well here and I want more.

looks like a daylily. there are MANY variations. my mom used to hyberdize them when i was little. i'll make her look at the pic to verify...
Ok, thanks! I feel so dumb for not knowing what a daylily is. I guess I knew it was some kind of lily though!
